Q-tech is hiring a Data Platform Engineer - Snowflake to join a data infrastructure team that builds the secure, scalable and trustworthy foundation for storing, processing and distributing critical data at a leading international financial services firm.

In this role, you'll design, build and continuously improve a cloud-based data platform, leveraging Terraform and other IaC tools, and collaborating with product owners to translate requirements into robust data solutions.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering or data engineering.
• Strong Snowflake experience and solid data engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Terraform, dbt and Airflow.
• Good level of Python and/or Java.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the end-to-end architecture and design of cloud data platform components, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and maintainable.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories and solution designs.
• Design reusable components for data ingestion, transformation and distribution.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Partner with architecture, security, data governance and other stakeholders to strengthen regulatory compliance and platform reliability.
