Q-tech in Madrid is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake) to design and maintain data pipelines that support decision-making, reporting and analytics for a leading financial services client. You will build ELT pipelines on Snowflake using dbt, define data contracts, and collaborate with governance, security and product teams to ensure scalable, compliant data platforms.

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Advanced Snowflake expertise (architecture, performance tuning, Snowpark, Streamlit).
• Strong dbt proficiency (models, macros, testing and deployment).
• Enterprise data modeling experience (dimensional modeling, SCD, Data Vault).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Experience with Airflow, StreamSets and data governance tools.
• Financial services domain knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI tools responsibly to optimize workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and deploy ELT pipelines using dbt on Snowflake, following established data modeling standards.
• Build data products for fund accounting, positions, NAV and regulatory reporting.
• Define data contracts, quality expectations and monitoring alerts.
• Develop infrastructure components using Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Partner with architecture, security and compliance teams to strengthen platform security and reliability.
• Translate product vision into platform capabilities alongside product owners.
