INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Site Engineer (Civil) to lead civil construction on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects in Australia and New Zealand. The role focuses on site grading, earthworks, foundations, drainage, and concrete works.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years EPC experience, ability to read drawings, fluency in English, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years experience in civil construction of utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, substations or similar.
• EPC construction project experience.
• Knowledge of earthworks, foundations, concrete structures, drainage, roads, and site development.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with international construction standards and QC procedures.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS project sites.
• Ensure civil works are executed per drawings, specs, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Review civil drawings, specs, method statements and procedures prior to execution.
• Monitor site grading, earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, cable trenches and related civil infra.
• Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors, survey teams, consultants and client representatives.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule.
• Verify quantities, review subcontractor progress, and support progress reports.
• Participate in inspections, QC activities and ensure compliance with ITPs.
• Resolve technical issues with engineering, construction and quality teams.
• Support project planning, site logistics and interface management between civil, electrical and mechanical works.
• Ensure accurate as-built records and handover documentation.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture in line with HSE requirements.
