Cubic³ is seeking a SIM Engineer Level I to join our SIM Engineering team and contribute to SIM/eSIM provisioning and card logistics. You will work with Java Card applets and support global customers, staying up-to-date with eSIM developments.

Required: degree in engineering or CS and 3+ years in telecoms, with knowledge of APDU/ISO 7816 and 3GPP/ETSI/GSMA. Onsite probation, then hybrid work options and ongoing professional growth.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in telecoms technology, connectivity, or related sectors.
• Proven experience with SIM/eSIM technologies and protocols (APDU, ISO 7816).
• Knowledge of 3GPP, ETSI, and GSMA standards.
• Experience with Java, Java Card, or scripting languages.
• Familiarity with mobile network elements and smart card technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; quality-focused and self-motivated.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, validate, and maintain electrical and logical profiles for SIM/eSIM products.
• Develop and implement Java Card applets for SIM/eSIM services, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Create and update technical documentation (e.g., applet specs, test plans).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across mobile networks, security, and vendors.
• Support development, testing, and integration of SIM-based applications and tools.
• Utilize smart card test and trace tools to ensure quality and performance.
• Participate in technical reviews, troubleshooting, and team meetings.
