Giesecke+Devrient's G+D Mobile Security unit seeks an Application Engineer for eSIM and IoT. You will deploy and manage Java applications across Datacenters and Cloud, work with IT Infrastructure and Support, and optimize monitoring and automation in a globally distributed team.

The role requires Linux, Web Server (Apache/Tomcat), and cloud skills with Ansible scripting; English fluency is essential for international collaboration.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent qualification.
• Experience managing Web Servers, Apache, Tomcat, and Java Applications in a Linux environment.
• Basic knowledge of Cloud Computing environments, particularly AWS, and container orchestration such as Kubernetes (e.g. ECS).
• Understanding of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP).
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python) and ideally Ansible for automation.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and Service Management.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum teamwork.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Install, integrate, and troubleshoot Java-based applications hosted at G+D Datacenters and Cloud environments for customers.
• Operate web servers, proxy servers, and Java applications in a Linux environment, managing certificates and keys.
• Analyze and resolve incidents related to Java applications following ITIL-based processes.
• Implement, test, and document new customer solutions with project management and internal teams.
• Maintain and enhance monitoring, logging, and event management systems.
• Automate regular operational tasks and deployments using scripts and Ansible.
