NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a senior Z/OS Mainframe Storage Engineer to oversee storage administration and capacity planning for large-scale mainframe environments in Barcelona.

You will lead provisioning, upgrades, DR testing, and performance optimization across DS8000 and virtual tape systems. The role requires deep knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, z/OSMF, and related tools, plus strong collaboration with systems, network, and applications teams.

Formación

• 8 to 15+ years of experience in Mainframe Infrastructure and z/OS Storage Administration.
• Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS storage in large-scale enterprises.
• Experience with IBM DS8000 series storage, virtual tape systems, disaster recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Manage mainframe disk and storage administration including provisioning, upgrades, and ongoing support.
• Conduct daily operations: health checks, incident management, monitoring, issue resolution.
• Plan and execute storage capacity expansions and infrastructure changes.
• Configure and maintain storage resources for databases, VSAM files, work datasets, and sort spaces.
• Administer storage management products (e.g., CA Disk).
• Install, test, and maintain storage hardware and software.
