NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled z/OS Mainframe Storage Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise mainframe storage infrastructure in a Barcelona-based role. You will oversee disk and tape storage, backup, DR, capacity planning, replication, and storage software lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate has deep IBM mainframe storage expertise and works across infrastructure, operations, and application support teams to ensure maximum performance and resilience of critical systems.

Formación

• 8 to 15+ years of experience in Mainframe Infrastructure and z/OS Storage Administration.
• Experience with IBM DS8000 series storage, virtual tape systems, disaster recovery solutions.
• Proven experience managing storage capacity, backup & recovery, replication technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all aspects of mainframe disk and storage administration, including installation, upgrades, and provisioning.
• Perform daily operational activities: health checks, incident management, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Plan and implement storage capacity expansions and infrastructure changes.
• Administer backup, recovery, archival, and disaster recovery solutions.
