Nordex is seeking a PLC Software Automation Senior Engineer (m/f/d) to develop and extend wind turbine control software, focusing on operational control and PLC-based implementations. You define software requirements and ensure quality through HiL and on-site testing.

You will work with multiple departments in an international environment to deliver reliable control solutions for sustainable wind energy, collaborating across teams and documenting software thoroughly.

Formación

• Technical degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable qualification.
• Desirable PLC software development experience according to IEC 61131.
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols Profinet and Modbus TCP.
• Good command of MS Office and MS Access.
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink (preferable).
• Experience with agile software development (SCRUM) (preferable).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enhance control software for wind turbine operation.
• Clarify software requirements and produce software specifications.
• Implement software on PLCs according to IEC 61131.
• Define test and acceptance criteria for wind turbine software qualification.
• Assure quality with software tests on HiL setups and on-site at turbines.
• Create related software documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
