Nordex seeks an Engineer Grid Integration Control to design and tune controllers for wind turbines, wind farms, and hybrid plants. You will model dynamic power-system behavior and validate against grid codes and mechanical constraints. The role requires travel and English proficiency, with German or Spanish desirable.

The engineer will develop PMS/EMS control strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable energy solutions and grid compatibility.

Formación

• MSc or Ph.D. in Electrical, Power Systems or Control Engineering.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience.
• Availability to travel.
• Proficiency in English (C1); German and Spanish desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Design and tune control algorithms for wind turbines, wind farms, and hybrid power plants.
• Ensure compliance with international grid codes, electrical models, and mechanical load requirements through control design.
• Model and simulate dynamic behavior of power systems, including electrical actuators (DFIG), grid scenarios, and power converters.
• Develop and implement control strategies for Power Management Systems (PMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
