Nordex Group is seeking a Senior Engineer for Grid Code Compliance & Testing to join our Electrical Grid integration team in Navarra. You will ensure Grid Code compliance for Nordex products, translate requirements into software tests, and develop test plans across wind farms and turbine levels.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, defining optimization strategies, and supporting sales and project phases. Advanced English is required; Spanish and/or German are a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced English level (C1-C2); Spanish and/or German are a plus.
• Intercultural understanding and ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
• Availability to travel.
• Recognition of foreign qualifications as Spanish equivalent when applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Grid Code compliance of Nordex products with end-to-end focus.
• Analyze Grid Code requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Translate Grid Code requirements into software requirements and tests in an agile process.
• Develop internal specifications for Grid Code compliance and support in sales and project phases.
• Define test plans for Grid Code compliance and QA on wind farm, turbine, and component levels.
• Perform, evaluate, and document Grid Code compliance tests and analyze data.
• Specify new functions to achieve and optimize Grid Code compliance at turbine and farm levels.
• Clarify Grid Code requirements in working groups and with utilities and customers.
• Maintain a clear understanding of Nordex product capabilities to rate Grid Code compliance.
• Improve processes within Grid Code compliance.
