Job summary

MediaMarkt España, part of MediaMarktSaturn Technology, is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer for the newly formed Retail Media team in Barcelona. You will shape UX/UI direction across web and app platforms, integrating third‑party Retail Media apps while aligning with business goals and customer needs.

You will lead end‑to‑end product design from discovery through delivery, influence priorities, and guide topics in the broader product development process.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in UX/UI or related field; typically 8+ years.
• Experience designing digital products across web and app.
• Ability to translate customer needs and business goals into product experiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of design systems and accessibility considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own UX/UI perspective for Retail Media across web and app.
• Translate needs and constraints into clear product experiences.
• Work with data and KPIs to inform design decisions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing.
• Lead ideation sessions and workshops with stakeholders.
• Shape ideas through the product development lifecycle.
• Create concepts, flows, and prototypes as needed.
• Support creation of product tickets and artefacts.
• Improve team processes and prioritisation.
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders.
• Represent customer perspective in discussions.
• Build constructive stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure usable, accessible, consistent digital experiences.
• Contribute to design systems and AI-enabled design workflows.
