The Game Kitchen is seeking a talented Lead Programmer to join our team in Sevilla. You will architect core game systems, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence in an agile environment.

Candidates should have 7+ years of professional game development, deep Unity and C# expertise, strong leadership, and excellent English (minimum B2). Remote/hybrid options available; preference for Sevilla office.

Formación

• Proven Track Record: At least 7+ years in video game development with at least two shipped titles in an engineering role.
• Unity & C# Mastery: Deep knowledge of Unity, profiling, memory optimization, cross‑platform deployment, and expert C# skills.
• Software Engineering Excellence: Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and architectural patterns (OOP, DOD, ScriptableObject).
• Leadership Experience: Prior leadership of engineering teams, task delegation, code reviews, and version control (Plastic/Perforce).
• Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical constraints for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Language Proficiency: Professional English with minimum B2 level.

Responsabilidades

• Define, architect, and maintain robust gameplay and technical foundations.
• Lead, mentor, and review the programming team; foster growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with Production, Game/Level Design, and Art to ensure feasible implementations.
• Oversee profiling, memory management, and optimization across Console and PC.
• Design and improve internal pipelines, editor tools, and build systems.
• Identify technical risks early and prototype critical systems.
