Digital Sun Games is seeking a skilled Unity Programmer to join our in-house team in Valencia, Spain. You will contribute to building engaging indie games, collaborating with artists and designers to deliver high-quality experiences.

The role requires strong C# knowledge, Unity proficiency, and experience with version control. You’ll work in a bilingual Spanish/English environment and have opportunities to grow with our studio.

Formación

We are looking for a skilled Unity Programmer to join our in-house team in the vibrant city of Valencia, Spain.

Minimum Requirements

• Strong knowledge of C# programming and the Unity Engine API. Solid understanding of game development fundamentals
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce, Plastic SCM, etc.).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good knowledge of software design patterns and best practices for scalable, maintainable code.
• Experience with debugging and performance optimization in Unity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a Spanish and English-speaking environment.

Desired Requirements

• Proficiency in Unity (C#) with at least 2 years of experience in professional or personal projects.
• Familiarity with PC and console game development and deployment.
• Experience working with multiplayer/networked games (e.g., Photon, Mirror, or UNet).
• Understanding of shader programming and graphics optimization.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban).
• Familiarity with third-party SDKs, plugins, and services.
• Experience with debugging and performance optimization in Unity
• A passion for video games and a portfolio showcasing previous work is a plus.
