Ford Credit is seeking a hands-on test automation architect to design scalable automation across the full testing pyramid. You will work primarily with Java, TypeScript, Selenium and Playwright to embed quality signals in the SDLC and CI/CD.

You will build maintainable frameworks, strengthen unit testing while enabling API, contract and E2E coverage, and drive data provisioning under GDPR constraints. Remote/onsite balance is flexible with a hybrid office pattern in Madrid.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on test automation experience.
• Strong Java skills with collections, streams and REST clients.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern test tooling.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Rest Assured.
• Design enterprise-grade automation frameworks, especially in regulated contexts.
• Experience across integration/contract and E2E testing and unit coverage.
• Knowledge of SQL, synthetic data, Git workflows and CI tooling.
• Solid testing fundamentals and risk-based prioritisation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., Copilot, LLM-based generation) is a plus.
• Degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and evolve enterprise-level test automation across the full testing pyramid.
• Promote unit-test discipline and contract/integration/API/E2E coverage.
• Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks in Java and TypeScript.
• Develop UI and E2E tests with Selenium and Playwright, including visual regression.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD for fast quality signals.
• Manage test data provisioning, masking, and synthetic data per GDPR.
• Improve test speed, reliability, and investigate failures quickly.
• Turn results into insights with trend and risk reporting.
• Evaluate new AI-assisted testing tools and communicate value/limitations.
