Ford Credit seeks an experienced test automation engineer to design scalable automation across the full testing pyramid and embed AI-assisted tooling in the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.

You will architect enterprise-level automation across unit, contract, integration, API and UI testing with Java, TypeScript, Selenium, Playwright and Rest Assured, ensuring high-quality, release-ready software in a regulated financial context.

Formación

• Hands-on test automation with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong Java skills, including collections, streams, REST clients and Maven or Gradle.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills, including ES6+ and Node-based test tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright and Rest Assured, plus testing web services, web UI and REST APIs.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-level automation frameworks, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Practical exposure to AI-assisted testing or development tools such as Copilot, Cursor or LLM-based test generation.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve test automation frameworks in Java and TypeScript.
• Strengthen the testing pyramid with unit, contract, service-level, API and E2E coverage.
• Improve UI and E2E quality with Selenium and Playwright suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD to deliver timely quality signals.
• Manage test data provisioning, masking and synthetic data in line with GDPR.
• Improve test speed, reliability and investigate failures.
• Turn results into insights with trend and risk reporting for releases.
• Evaluate new tooling, including AI-assisted testing and related tools.
