UST España & Latam seeks an experienced Test Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated suites for a global wealth management client. You will work in a hybrid setup in Madrid, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging Selenium, Cucumber, and Java within Temenos T24/Transact environments.

The role emphasizes TDD/BDD practices, CI/CD automation, and strong English communication. Prior banking domain exposure and ISTQB/Selenium credentials are highly valued.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation frameworks, Selenium, and BDD methodologies to build and maintain robust automated testing suites for our leading global wealth management client. The ideal candidate combines deep technical skills in test automation, a passion for quality assurance, and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams focused on banking domain excellence.

Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

Language: English is a must. Spanish desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the latest scripting techniques and industry best practices.
• Build and expand the automated regression suite for core banking applications on Temenos T24/Transact across multiple domains.
• Ensure automated tests are triggered via scheduled CI/CD pipelines and results are consolidated and distributed to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the integration of automated tests with JIRA/X-ray for complete traceability and reporting.
• Work closely with requirements engineers, developers, and Test Managers to convert documented test cases into automated scripts and maintain regression stability.
• Configure, update, maintain, and deploy test tools, adapting test environments for T24/Transact-based applications and their interfaces.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design automation strategies aligned with the client's overall quality vision.
• Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, supporting the broader team with training and best practices in test automation.
• Deliver high-quality automated test suites aligned with the client's quality guidelines and standards.

Required Experience

• You have a can-do attitude, are pragmatic, and open-minded with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, and your ideas for enhancing automation and quality processes are welcome.
• You have at least 5 years of proven delivery experience in test automation and BDD using industry standards like Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• You have a deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation technologies such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• You possess strong Java development skills and advanced Java concepts knowledge.
• You have proven experience in the banking domain and familiarity with Temenos T24/Transact is strongly preferred.
• You understand the importance of test-driven development (TDD) and behavioral-driven development (BDD).
• You are willing to learn new ways of working and support the client in its agile transformation.
• You take pride in your work and strive to lead by example in quality initiatives.
• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have proven relevant working experience.
• ISTQB Foundation and Selenium certifications are essential.
• English C1
