UST is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to join the Performance Test Services team in Madrid. The role focuses on ensuring performance, scalability, stability, and availability of enterprise applications.

Hybrid work arrangement with three days onsite near Sol. Responsibilities include designing and executing load tests, building synthetic monitoring, analyzing results, and advising on testing strategies.

Formación

• Proven experience designing and executing performance and load testing within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to root-cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and execute performance and load testing strategies for business-critical applications.
• Build and maintain synthetic monitoring solutions to proactively measure application availability and user experience.
• Analyze test results and produce clear, actionable reports, including optimization recommendations.
• Review and assess performance testing and monitoring code written in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across applications, APIs, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Act as a trusted advisor, supporting stakeholders in defining and implementing testing and monitoring strategies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, automation capabilities, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable test solutions throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

What we look for?

We are looking for a Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our Performance Test Services team. In this role, you will act as a technical expert and trusted advisor, helping internal teams ensure that applications and services meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, stability, and availability.

Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at client´s office, Sol area, next to the underground)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance and load testing strategies for business-critical applications.
• Build and maintain synthetic monitoring solutions to proactively measure application availability and user experience.
