Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Senior Application Tendering Engineer to strengthen our Business Support team in Spain. You will prepare technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment across projects and tenders, supporting the sales process with technical and commercial input.

Key duties include requirements analysis, sizing calculations, quotations, and coordination with customers, product managers and manufacturing sites. English B2+ and Spanish/Portuguese language skills are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years in tendering or technical sales support in the water sector.
• Knowledge of industrial processes related to Sulzer equipment.
• Experience evaluating technical requirements and configuring engineered products.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
• English B2 or higher; Spanish/Portuguese language skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and projects.
• Support the sales process from lead generation through negotiation with technical input.
• Analyze customer requirements and perform sizing calculations.
• Develop quotations using configuration tools.
• Manage opportunities, accounts and project information in Salesforce.
• Coordinate with customers, sales, product managers and manufacturing sites.
• Complete technical documentation and data sheets for tender submissions.
• Assist pricing activities including non-standard proposals.
• Coordinate quotation activities for large and strategic projects.
• Identify improvements to quotation tools and processes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to transformation and adoption of new tools.
• Build relationships with engineering firms and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Compliance, Equality, and Data Protection.
