Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Senior Application Tendering Engineer to strengthen our Spain-based Business Support team. You will prepare technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions across a wide range of customer projects, tenders, and awarded contracts.

You will analyze requirements, perform sizing calculations, develop quotations, maintain opportunities in Salesforce, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and ensure compliant tender submissions while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years in tendering, application engineering, or technical sales support in water sector.
• Experience configuring engineered products and evaluating technical requirements.
• Advanced MS Office skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with international teams.
• Proficiency in English (B2+) and Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or ERP/quote tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions across projects and tenders.
• Support sales process from lead generation through negotiations with technical and commercial input.
• Analyze customer requirements, perform sizing calculations, and recommend optimal solutions.
• Develop quotations and commercial offers using quotation/configuration tools.
• Maintain opportunities and project data in Salesforce and related systems.
• Coordinate with customers, sales teams, product managers and manufacturing sites.
• Ensure compliant tender submissions and assist pricing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve quotation tools and processes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to maintain technical/commercial documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
