Array Tech, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Engineer III to drive development of solar mounting systems and automated tools. You will lead projects, collaborate with engineering teams and contractors, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.

You will develop advanced Excel tools using VBA and Python or MATLAB, apply codes to designs, and act as a technical consultant to customers, with a focus on quality and scalability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, civil, structural or geotechnical engineering is required.
• 3+ years in project engineering/management or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering experience; master's preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel macros and programming languages (VBA, Python, MATLAB).
• Knowledge of ASCE, Eurocode, AISC, and IBC building standards.

Responsabilidades

• Design, analyze, and optimize solar mounting systems for assigned projects (metallic structures).
• Apply international building codes and standards to design tracker structures and components.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel tools and macros for design and configuration.
• Use VBA, Python, or MATLAB to enhance Excel tools and in-house software.
• Act as customer’s primary technical consultant during project phases.
• Provide design support, loads calculations, and drawings review.
• Draft and check drafting work using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or SolidWorks.
• Lead internal technical efforts and estimate timelines for tasks.
• Research building codes to determine wind, snow, seismic and other loads.
