Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel is partnering with a leading international utility-scale solar company to strengthen its Project Engineering team with an experienced Engineering Manager. You will oversee design, optimisation and implementation of solar racking and tracking systems across GW-scale projects in Europe.

• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

Engineering Manager | Solar Structures & Tracker Systems | Europe

Location: Europe (Hybrid/Remote options available)

Are you passionate about renewable energy and engineering innovation? We are partnering with a leading international company in the utility-scale solar sector that is looking to strengthen its Project Engineering team with an experienced Engineering Manager.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the deployment of GW-scale solar projects worldwide while working on the design, optimisation and implementation of advanced solar racking and tracking systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering studies and structural calculations for solar support structures.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including plans, assembly drawings and construction details.
• Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives focused on structural optimisation and cost reduction.
• Review technical project documentation and identify potential engineering risks.
• Collaborate with project teams, customers, suppliers and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support during project execution and assist commercial teams with engineering-related queries.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities, design reviews and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience within solar PV, steel structures, trackers, racking systems or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and engineering design tools.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary and international environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.
