Job summary

cplace is seeking a Senior SRE to run our Kubernetes-based Cloud 1.0 reliably and securely while shaping Cloud 2.0 architecture. You will collaborate with product teams, implement security, and apply AI in operations to enhance incident handling and automation.

You will design and operate Terraform modules, GitOps workflows, and self-service tools, ensuring cost efficiency and high availability across environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a related STEM field, plus several years (ideally 5+) as an SRE/DevOps in production environments.
• Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production and at least one cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Deep experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and GitOps workflows.
• Strong Linux skills, SQL databases (MariaDB), and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/ELK).
• Go or Python and Bash scripting with a focus on maintainable, tested code.

Responsibilities

• Co-building the Kubernetes platform 2.0 and migrating Cloud 1.0 environments.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and GitOps repositories with tests and policy as code.
• Operate Cloud 1.0: Linux servers, containers, SQL DBs, Elasticsearch; resolve incidents and improve capacity.
• Improve monitoring, logging, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Implement security/compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) and optimize costs.
• Drive AI in operations for incident/log analysis and runbooks.
