Ebury’s FinCore Engineering team builds the financial backbone of our business. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to modernize our platform, reduce technical debt, and engineer high-throughput systems in a regulated environment.

Joining a distributed team across Europe and South America, you will lead high-impact initiatives and shape our next-gen FX engine. You’ll own design and delivery end-to-end, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in CI/CD and testing.

Formación

• 5+ years backend software engineering with Python as primary stack.
• Strong OOP background in Java, C#, or Go with fintech knowledge.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, CI/CD (Jenkins), and Terraform.
• Commitment to robust testing and clean architecture.
• Fluency in English to work across time zones.

Responsabilidades

• Architect Next-Gen FX: Design and scale platform services with RFCs.
• Lead end-to-end Delivery: partner with Product and Operations from discovery to rollout.
• Practice Full Ownership: own design, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.
• Refactor & Modernize: reduce legacy debt and elevate platform performance.
• Elevate Engineering Culture: mentor juniors, participate in code reviews, CI/CD and testing.
