Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Integrations Platform to improve developer experience, build scalable AI tooling, and influence how data is interpreted and used. You will own end-to-end projects, collaborate across Security, Ingest, and open source communities, and drive automation and Gen AI initiatives.

This role emphasizes autonomous execution, cross-team collaboration, and delivering shipped results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience building and running evals for AI systems at scale.
Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
Hands-on Terraform for infrastructure and deployment.
BigQuery for telemetry and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead green-field initiatives that shape the developer experience for building and maintaining Security Integrations.
Architect and drive the tooling and automation strategy, leveraging Gen AI to solve problems at scale.
Set a collaborative tone for the team by fostering open communication, mutual respect, and thoughtful decision-making, while mentoring engineers along the way.
Represent the team in the open, working closely with Security and Ingest teams, Elastic users, and the broader open source community to shape direction and build trust.
