AgileEngine in Barcelona, Spain, is building a strategic talent pool for high-priority Shopify Plus projects in a remote-first environment. You will architect, develop, and maintain high-performance ecommerce solutions for innovative brands, driving platform architecture and roadmap strategy with senior engineers.

The role emphasizes understanding the why behind the platform, code quality, security, and performance, with first-level Shopify support and rigorous reviews.

Formación

• 4+ years Shopify development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and modern methodologies.
• Experience with page performance optimization and secure development.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve site issues with tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer focus, and learning mindset.
• Familiarity with Jira and collaborative development environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop key system components, identify reusable modules, and optimize delivery times.
• Perform deep code analysis, develop patches, and implement new platform features.
• Research platform capabilities and identify opportunities for the ecommerce roadmap.
• Engage with Product Management on system design and innovative solutions.
• Provide first-level Shopify technical support and conduct incident postmortems.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical validation.
• Work with the team to ensure security and performance best practices.
• Support Project Management with effort estimates and planning.
• Identify and remove technical roadblocks proactively.
