AgileEngine is building a strategic talent pool for high-priority Shopify Plus projects launching in the coming months. We focus on architecting, developing, and maintaining high-performance eCommerce solutions in a remote-first environment, collaborating with senior engineers to drive platform architecture and roadmap strategy.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and modern development methodologies.
• Experience with page performance optimization, front-end caching, CDNs, and secure development practices.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve site issues using commercial and open-source tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-first mindset, patience, and empathy.
• Familiarity with Jira and collaborative development environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop key system components, identify reusable modules, and optimize delivery times.
• Perform deep code analysis, develop patches, and implement new platform features.
• Research platform capabilities and identify opportunities for the eCommerce roadmap.
• Engage with Product Management on system design, capabilities, and innovative solutions.
• Provide first-level Shopify technical support, troubleshoot critical issues, and conduct incident postmortems.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical validation.
• Work with the broader development team to ensure best practices in security and performance.
• Support Project Management with effort estimates and planning.
• Proactively identify and remove technical roadblocks.
