AgileEngine is proactively building a strategic talent pool for high-priority Shopify Plus projects launching in the coming months, with remote-first collaboration and rapid visibility with key clients. The Senior Shopify Engineer will architect, develop, and maintain high-performance ecommerce solutions, drive code analysis, and contribute to the Shopify roadmap while ensuring security and performance.

Formación

4+ years Shopify development experience.
Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus features.
Understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with page performance optimization, front-end caching, CDNs, and secure development practices.
Strong ability to diagnose and resolve site issues using tools.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

Develop key system components, identify reusable modules, and optimize delivery times.
Perform deep code analysis, develop patches, and implement new platform features.
Research platform capabilities and identify opportunities for the eCommerce roadmap.
Engage with Product Management on system design and capabilities.
Provide first-level Shopify technical support, troubleshoot critical issues, and conduct incident postmortems.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical validation.
