Job summary

Indegene seeks an experienced SFMC Lead Developer to architect and build scalable omnichannel journeys. You will lead Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS development, while guiding MCP implementations and integrations with Veeva CRM and WordPress VIP.

Based in Madrid, you will partner with CRM, Web, and CMS teams in a pharma environment. The role emphasizes hands-on technical delivery, architecture, data governance, and cross-functional enablement to deliver compliant

Qualifications

7-10+ years of hands-on SFMC development and architecture experience at scale.
Advanced mastery of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, and SFMC data modeling.
Proven experience with MCP implementation, including tagging, decisioning, and integration with websites.
Strong familiarity with Veeva CRM data structures and how CRM segments feed omnichannel journeys.
Pharma or life sciences omnichannel operations experience; Spanish market on-site presence.

Responsibilities

Lead the build and optimization of journeys in Journey Builder with multi-branch paths and event-based orchestration.
Develop automations in Automation Studio, including SQL-based segmentation and data hygiene processes.
Create modular email/content blocks using AMPscript and SSJS; implement MCP tagging and personalization recipes.
Oversee data models, data extensions, mappings, and governance across activation channels.
Collaborate with CRM, Web, CMS teams and provide training and playbooks for marketing and operations.
