Our Client in the pharmaceutical sector is seeking a Senior SAP MES Project Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing execution, integration and optimisation projects across IT, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory teams.

You will drive SAP MES implementations, interfaces, upgrades, and multi-site programmes, ensuring GMP, FDA and EMA compliance while coordinating budgets, risks and stakeholder communications.

Formación

• 5+ years of project management experience in pharma manufacturing.
• At least 3 years leading SAP MES projects.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, EMA regulations.
• Experience managing multi-site cross-functional teams.
• PM certification (PMP/PRINCE2) advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end SAP MES implementation, interface and upgrade projects.
• Manage planning, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate IT, Operations, Quality and Regulatory teams.

Senior SAP MES Project Manager - Pharma

ASAP Start | 12+ Month Contract - Must be EU based

We're supporting a leading pharmaceutical organisation looking for an experienced Senior SAP MES Project Manager to lead complex manufacturing execution, integration and optimisation projects across its production environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP MES Project Manager to work across IT, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory teams, delivering transformation initiatives that improve manufacturing efficiency while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP MES implementation, interface and upgrade projects.
• Manage project planning, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Lead cross-functional teams across IT, Operations, Quality and Regulatory.
• Analyse manufacturing processes and system performance to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Ensure projects comply with GMP, FDA and EMA requirements.
• Lead risk assessment, mitigation and change management activities.
• Manage senior stakeholder communications, reporting and project governance.
• Support business adoption and mentor junior project managers.

Required Experience

• 5+ years' Project Management experience, including at least 3 years managing SAP MES projects.
• Strong SAP MES experience across implementation, interfacing, configuration/customisation and optimisation.
• Proven pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and GMP/regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing complex, multi-site projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with budget management and resource planning.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is advantageous.

Desirable

• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
• Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement experience.
• Change management and organisational transformation experience.
• Experience managing multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing sites or global project portfolios.
