Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for Energy & Infrastructure to join our team in Spain. You will connect technical expertise with customer needs, helping us expand our market presence and deliver exceptional value to clients.

You will manage sales activities, coordinate with a global network of plants, negotiate terms, and guide projects from tender to handover across Spain and abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Able to travel in Spain and internationally.
• Knowledge of API standards and customer-focused sales.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact for all sales activities for designated customers.
• Support development plans, budgets, and monthly RFCs.
• Attend sales meetings and keep management informed.
• Maintain Sulzer CRM with up-to-date information.
• Ensure profitable growth and build strong customer relationships.
• Review and interpret customer inquiries and support tender processes.
• Coordinate with customers to resolve technical and commercial queries.
• Liaise with Sulzer factories to offer best solutions and service.
• Negotiate terms and close sales, guiding projects to handover.
• Facilitate communication between Spanish clients and factories during execution.
