AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to assess current reporting and define a future-state reporting strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community. The role requires strong business analysis skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex needs into actionable requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis and requirements-management experience of at least 4 years.
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing an existing reporting or analytics portfolio.
• Translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Experience developing process maps, requirements documentation, reporting inventories, and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills to identify duplication, gaps, and simplification.
• Ability to work across business, tech, data and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to drive requirements through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of existing reports, dashboards, metrics, and related artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business need and audience.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and value.
• Identify reporting gaps and reports no longer serving purpose.
• Develop recommendations to modify or decommission reporting.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming reports.
• Conduct interviews to understand objectives and needs.
• Translate needs into defined business and functional requirements.
• Maintain traceability between needs, requirements, reports and outcomes.
• Develop a target-state reporting portfolio based on requirements.
