AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to assess current reporting and define a future-state reporting strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community in Sevilla, Spain.

You will lead interviews, map requirements, and translate business needs into structured documentation, with a focus on eliminating gaps and aligning reporting with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of strong business analysis and requirements-management experience.
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing an existing reporting/analytics portfolio.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into structured business and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of existing reports, dashboards, metrics, and related artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business need, audience, and use cases.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, consistency, and continued business value.
• Identify reporting gaps and reports that may no longer serve a meaningful business purpose.
• Develop recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, replace, or decommission reporting.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas that consume, produce, or rely on reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and working sessions to understand objectives, needs, pain points, decision requirements, and outcomes.
• Translate stakeholder needs into well-defined business and functional requirements.
• Reconcile competing requirements and establish a consolidated view of demand.
• Maintain traceability between needs, requirements, reports, metrics, and outcomes.
• Develop a target-state reporting portfolio and define standards for governance and metadata.
