AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Business Analyst to assess existing reporting and define a future-state reporting strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community. You will develop inventories, conduct structured interviews, and translate needs into well-defined requirements.

Responsibilities include reconciling competing demands, maintaining traceability, and delivering a prioritized roadmap for a sustainable reporting portfolio. This role offers flexible hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis and requirements-management experience of at least 4 years.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Experience developing process maps, requirements documentation, and reporting roadmaps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate across business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of existing reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business needs and use cases.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and value.
• Identify gaps and reports no longer serving business purpose.
• Develop recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, replace, or decommission reporting.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming or producing reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and working sessions to capture objectives and outcomes.
• Translate needs into defined business and functional requirements.
• Reconcile competing requirements and establish a consolidated view of demand.
• Maintain traceability between business needs, reports, and outcomes.
• Develop target-state reporting portfolio based on requirements and findings.
• Prioritize requirements and develop a transition roadmap.
• Define ownership for reports, data sources, and requirements.
• Establish governance for reporting standards and change management.
