Cognizant is seeking a Databricks Manager to lead the data engineering, architecture and data science teams in building and scaling an enterprise data platform on Databricks for a leading energy sector client. The role combines technical delivery with business strategy in a fully remote setting.

You will drive end-to-end data product lifecycles, governance, and AI enablement, mentoring a portfolio of cross-functional projects and translating complex data initiatives into clear business value.

Formación

• 8+ years in data engineering, data architecture or data science with leadership experience.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Databricks, Spark and Delta Lake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience designing semantic layers and optimizing pipelines for BI.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, implementation and optimization of the enterprise data platform on Databricks, Delta Lake and Iceberg.
• Oversee a portfolio of cross-functional data projects, ensuring timely delivery and business impact.
• Enforce data governance, security and quality standards (Unity Catalog, GDPR compliance).
• Collaborate with AI teams to enable machine learning and Generative AI initiatives.
