Talan Spain is seeking a Data Engineer to help us build and scale our modern data platform. You will work closely with the Central Platform Team to implement the Databricks engineering framework and establish reusable development patterns.

The role requires strong PySpark, SQL, and Python, experience with Databricks, VS Code, Git/GitHub, and a proactive, collaborative mindset in a fully remote setting. This is a 9‑month, full‑time contract based in Spain with CET/CEST time.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer with Databricks.
• Strong proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python within the Databricks ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with modern IDEs (VS Code) and version control workflows (Git/GitHub).

Responsabilidades

• Build and scale our modern data platform under the Central Platform Team's guidance.
• Establish reusable development patterns and advance our core codebase.
• Contribute to Databricks engineering framework and data pipelines modularization.
