Cognizant, in a fully remote leadership role, seeks an experienced Data Manager to guide data engineering, architecture and data science teams. You will build and scale the enterprise data platform on Databricks for a leading energy sector client, overseeing end-to-end data products and governance.

You will drive scalable architectures, lead cross-functional teams, ensure data quality and GDPR compliance, and enable AI/ML initiatives using Python and BI tools.

Formación

• 8+ years in data engineering, architecture or data science with leadership experience.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Databricks, Spark and Delta Lake.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency.
• Experience designing semantic layers and optimizing data pipelines for BI tools.

Responsabilidades

• Platform Strategy & Architecture: Design and optimize the enterprise data platform on Databricks.
• Team & Portfolio Leadership: Mentor and scale data engineers, scientists and analysts; manage multiple projects.
• Data Governance & Quality: Implement governance, security and Unity Catalog controls; ensure data quality and GDPR compliance.
• Advanced Analytics & AI Enablement: Enable ML/Generative AI workflows; collaborate with AI teams; prototype data products.
