Job summary

Access Talent Group seeks a Quantity Surveyor for a major data centre project in Madrid. You will lead commercial management, contract administration and cost control, coordinating with clients, suppliers and the project team.

The role requires strong experience in measurement, valuation and procurement, with emphasis on risk management and accurate reporting. Hybrid or remote work options are available for the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Experience with measurement, valuation and cost control.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and technologies.
• Good knowledge of subcontractor and material procurement.
• Experience preparing and reviewing commercial reports.
• Good understanding of standard and bespoke construction contracts.
• Spanish language skills are advantageous but not essential.
• Full working rights in the EU are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project contract budgets.
• Manage the contractual and commercial aspects of the project.
• Maintain accurate contract and commercial records.
• Prepare monthly commercial and cost reports.
• Attend contractor handover and contract review meetings.
• Monitor cash flow, reporting and collections.
• Identify commercial risks and implement risk management plans.
• Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors and the professional team.
• Support the procurement and administration of subcontract and material orders.
• Monitor project costs, valuations and commercial performance.
