Adient is a global leader in automotive seating, with 65,000+ employees across 29 countries. The Sr Quality Engineer – Customer Liaison will act as the interface between customer JIT and Trim production, drive on-site problem analyses, and verify improvement actions at JIT plants.

The role requires strong quality management experience in automotive and frequent interaction with OEMs. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Formación

• Technical education or equivalent in a technical field.
• Proven professional experience in quality management within automotive.
• Experience in customer quality management and direct communication with OEMs and Tier 1 customers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with structured root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of automotive quality tools and methodologies (VDA 6.3, 8D, FMEA, Poka‑Yoke, Ishikawa, 5 Why).
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Interface between customer JIT and Trim production plant.
• Conduct JIT onside problem analyses and feedback to Trim plant.
• Verify improvement actions at JIT plants.
• Coordinate sorting activities at JIT plants.
• Support Trim engineers with technical knowledge and feedback loops.
• Set up boundary book between OEM, JIT and Trim plant.
• Monitor KPIs: customer satisfaction JIT, IRPPM, ICPPM, Firewall headcount JIT.
• Perform firewall audits and follow up on action plans.
• Conduct Inspector Gauge R&R evaluation and training.
