Adient plc is seeking a Quality Engineer – Customer Liaison based in Barcelona to act as the interface between the customer JIT and Trim production, analyze problems, and ensure closure of improvement actions. You will support JIT plants with technical guidance and coordinate sorting activities while maintaining strong communication with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree, extensive automotive quality experience, and proficiency in tools like VDA 6.3, 8D, FMEA.

• Technical education or degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in automotive quality management.
• Experience in customer quality management with OEMs and Tier 1 customers.
• Strong root-cause analysis skills and structured problem solving.
• Knowledge of quality tools: VDA 6.3, 8D, FMEA, Poka-Yoke, Ishikawa, 5 Why.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• High willingness to travel (approx. 70%).

Responsabilidades

• Support local Trim engineers with technical knowledge and feedback loops.
• Set up boundary book between OEM, JIT and Trim plant.
