Job description

About Fundraise Up

We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.

Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.

About The Role

The largest nonprofits don’t just use Fundraise Up anymore. They build on it.

Enterprise customers connect us to their CRMs, data warehouses, mobile apps and in-house tools. Canvassing vendors, F2F agencies, P2P and OEM partners process donations through our API, and donation volume through it has grown roughly 5x in a year. You’ll own this surface end to end. You’ll set the API strategy, then relaunch and scale the API so every new product ships with it from day one. You’ll also expand the payment methods donors can use around the world. This is a technical role with a business goal: a strong API is a direct path to more money reaching the causes our customers serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the API strategy and roadmap end to end. This covers the Public API, webhooks and events, the P2P API, write and bulk operations, versioning, limits, idempotency and key security.
  • Turn the integration needs of enterprise customers and key partners into platform capabilities that work for every customer, not one-off customizations.
  • Build the Partner API Program from scratch, including onboarding, access, documentation and success metrics. Also own the no-code and data connectors partners rely on: Zapier, Make.com, n8n and data warehouse exports.
  • Drive API parity by partnering with New Products teams, so P2P, Tap to Donate, Gift Cart and every future launch ship with API and event support at launch.
  • Act as the product counterpart for enterprise customers and the go-to-market team on integrations, through discovery calls, technical requirements and Customer Advisory Board sessions.
  • Own developer experience (portal, docs, SDKs, observability) and the metrics behind it: donation volume through the API, active integrations, time to first successful call and webhook delivery rate.
  • Expand how and where donors can pay, as a smaller, adjacent scope. This includes local payment methods and geographic coverage, recurring payment retries, payment infrastructure, DAF giving and compliance.
  • Use AI as a default tool, not an experimental one. At Fundraise Up, we expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work. That means finding where AI can change the shape of problems in API and platform product work, from research and specs to prototypes and data analysis, and growing your fluency as the tools evolve.
Skills And Qualifications
  • 5+ years in Product Management in B2B SaaS, with at least 2 years owning a public API, an integrations platform or a payments product.
  • Hands-on technical fluency with REST, OpenAPI, webhooks, OAuth and API keys. You read API docs and make test calls yourself.
  • A track record with enterprise customers and technology partners, turning the requirements of a specific integration into platform capabilities.
  • Comfort working with go-to-market teams and running customer interviews. You bring technical depth and business judgment together.
  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor for research, specs, prototypes and data analysis.
  • Languages: Fluent Russian (required, as you’ll be working in a Russian-speaking team) and English at C1 level, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
  • Payments experience, such as Stripe, local payment methods or recurring billing.
You’ll Thrive Here If You…
  • Get excited by an under-built product area where the strategy is yours to write.
  • Think in contracts. Hundreds of integrations depend on what you ship, so stability and predictability are features to you.
  • Hear one customer’s blocker and see the capability the whole customer base needs.
  • Size an opportunity in dollars before you build it, and own the result after you ship.
  • Are as comfortable debating idempotency with engineers as walking an enterprise customer through a roadmap.
  • Prototype and test things yourself instead of waiting for someone else to.
  • Say what you think, invite pushback and change your mind when the data says so.
Gross Total Compensation

€5.900—€6.500 EUR

Perks & Benefits
  • 23 days of vacation, 14 public holidays, and 5 fully paid sick days.
  • Private health insurance for you and your family.
  • Mental health support with therapy sessions for you and your partner.
  • Sports reimbursement to help you stay active and feel your best.
  • Fully remote work.
  • Generous home office stipend to set up a comfortable, productive workspace.
  • Coworking reimbursement for days when you'd rather work alongside other people.
  • Annual professional development stipend to support your growth.
  • English learning programs to help you communicate with confidence across our global team.
  • Charitable giving program with company matching for your donations to registered non-profits.
