COCUNAT | Clinical Cosmetics in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Press & PR Specialist to lead the PR strategy across European markets. This role involves building relationships with key media and elevating the brand narrative through strategic storytelling and impactful editorial content.

Ideal candidates have 4-6 years of experience in PR within the beauty industry, excellent storytelling skills, and a passion for building brand visibility.

We’re looking for a Senior Press & PR Specialist who will elevate our brand narrative at a strategic level, strengthening how COCUNAT is perceived across media, KOLs and industry leaders. This role is key within our Brand Team: you will transform our clinical innovation into high-impact editorial stories, drive visibility in top-tier media, and consolidate our positioning as a disruptive leader in clinical beauty.

Your responsibilities

As Senior Press & PR Specialist, you will lead COCUNAT’s earned media strategy across key European markets (Spain, Italy, France), driving impact, consistency and long-term positioning.

You will elevate the PR function into a strategic growth lever for the brand.

• Co-define and evolve the global PR and communication strategy with the Head of Brand
• Translate brand and business goals into clear PR roadmaps and narratives
• Build strong, long-term storytelling frameworks around our clinical positioning
• Identify strategic opportunities to increase brand authority and visibility
• Ensure consistency and excellence across all markets

Media Relations & Influence

You will strengthen COCUNAT’s presence in top-tier media and key conversations.

• Build and nurture high-level relationships with beauty editors, journalists and industry voices
• Secure impactful media placements through proactive and strategic pitching
• Identify and activate top-tier KOLs aligned with our scientific and purpose-driven positioning
• Position the brand within relevant trends and editorial agendas

Agency Management & International Coordination

You will ensure strong execution and alignment across markets.

• Coordinate and guide PR agencies in different countries to ensure strategic alignment
• Track performance and ensure delivery of KPIs across all markets
• Act as the key point of contact between global strategy and local execution
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability and efficiency

Product Launches & Storytelling

You will transform product innovation into compelling and differentiated narratives.

• Define PR angles and storytelling for key product launches
• Oversee the creation of elevated press kits and communication materials
• Ensure all messaging translates clinical efficacy into accessible, engaging stories
• Adapt storytelling to each market while maintaining brand consistency

Events & Brand Experiences

You will drive impactful brand moments that generate visibility and engagement.

• Conceptualize and execute press events, brand activations and PR experiences
• Create formats that connect media, KOLs and community
• Ensure each activation generates meaningful earned media

Performance & Budget Control

You will ensure PR delivers measurable and optimized impact.

• Lead reporting and analysis of PR performance across markets
• Translate coverage and data into strategic insights and recommendations
• Optimize PR investments across agencies, events and seeding
• Support budget control and resource allocation

Your profile

• +4–6 years of experience in PR or communication roles within Beauty, Dermocosmetics or similar industries.
• Experience working with brands with a strong clinical or technical positioning is highly valued.
• Strong track record building media relationships and securing top-tier coverage.
• Experience coordinating agencies or multi-market PR strategies.
• Analytical mindset with experience in media monitoring and reporting tools (Kantar, Launchmetrics, Meltwater or similar).
• Fluent English required. French or Italian is a strong plus.
• Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills.
• Highly organized, proactive and results-driven.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities.
• Passion for the beauty industry and deep understanding of media dynamics.
