Cocunat is seeking a PR & Communications Intern to join our Brand team in Barcelona. This role supports communication initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and build media relationships, offering a chance to work on real projects with direct impact. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating press events and managing media communications.

Introduction

At COCUNAT, we’re looking for a PR & Communications Intern to join our Brand team. In this role, you’ll support the execution of communication initiatives that strengthen our brand visibility, build meaningful media relationships, and bring our story to life across multiple channels. You’ll collaborate with different teams and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, international environment where creativity, organization, and attention to detail make a real impact.

Your responsibilities

As a PR & Communications Intern, you’ll support the Brand Communication & Trade Marketing Manager in executing communication, PR, and brand activation initiatives that help grow COCUNAT’s brand awareness.

Media Relations & Communications

• Support the management and continuous update of COCUNAT's media database.
• Assist in building relationships with journalists, editors, and media partners.
• Help draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and corporate communications.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare press clippings and performance reports.
• Identify editorial opportunities, industry trends, and relevant news angles.

PR Operations & Brand Activations

• Coordinate product requests with the warehouse team for PR initiatives.
• Prepare and manage press seedings, including product selection, packing, quality checks, and shipment coordination.
• Support the organization of press events, product launches, interviews, and brand activations.
• Provide support on special communication projects and cross‑functional brand initiatives.
• Be available to travel occasionally for events and industry opportunities.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Passion for storytelling, media relations, branding, and communication.
• Strong interest in the beauty, wellness, or lifestyle industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
• French is a strong plus.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence interacting with external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor and report PR performance.
