Job summary

Deel is seeking a Platform Identity and Access Management lead to own the roadmap and architecture across global teams. You will design scalable authentication, RBAC, SSO, and compliance workflows, balancing legacy needs with security and usability.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Legal, IT and Data teams to translate requirements into product decisions, drive production stability, and ship multi-tenant, region-aware identity features at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product experience in identity, security, or platform infrastructure.
• Deep technical fluency in IAM, authentication, authorization, or related systems.
• Proven ability to synthesize multiple stakeholder needs and set clear direction.
• Comfort with ambiguity and trade-offs.
• Experience shipping infrastructure or platform products at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the roadmap for identity and access management.
• Work across Compliance, Legal, IT, and Data to translate requirements into product decisions.
• Design identity architecture that handles diverse user types and work contexts.
• Develop identity verification and compliance strategies that scale globally.
• Prioritize and manage competing stakeholder requests.
• Own production stability and incident response for identity and access systems.
• Break down complex technical and regulatory requirements into a shippable roadmap.
