Swiftly, Inc. seeks an experienced infrastructure platform engineer to build the cloud foundation for its transit data platform.

You will modernize AWS infrastructure, expand into a new region, standardize observability, and enable AI-assisted development with automated quality checks. You will focus on infrastructure, tooling, safeguards, and developer experience, gathering requirements and documenting decisions while aligning engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to keep services

Formación

• Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including migrating workloads between CI platforms.
• Experience designing or operating multi-region deployments: failover, data residency, and repeatable provisioning across regions.
• Hands-on experience building AI tooling that other engineers adopt.
• Ability to write production-quality code or scripts in Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or similar.
• Familiarity with secure cloud networking: VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, security groups, and IAM.
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana and OpenTelemetry.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate to AWS/EKS with reusable Kubernetes patterns for deployment and reliability.
• Expand Swiftly into a new AWS region with multi-region resilience.
• Own and improve shared cloud infrastructure and automate provisioning with IaC.
• Enable self-service observability with versioned dashboards and alerts.
• Build and operate the AI platform layer to drive developer velocity.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and migrate workloads to a consolidated platform.
• Document platform decisions and align across teams.
• Collaborate with product to plan platform work that meets needs.
• Share on-call rotation to reduce production incidents.
