What you bring

• Several years of payroll management or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of payroll best practices
• Proficient in using software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheets
• An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact
• Being a productivity enthusiast and constantly seeking ways to improve and speed up work processes
• Understanding the importance of working largely independently
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Experience working remotely is a plus but not required

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the Netherlands payroll processes
• Manage existing relationships with key stakeholders within Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams
• Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance
• Ensure full data integrity and quality
• Experience in accounting and reconciliations
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs to ensure performance standards
• Implement and improve payroll processes
• Mentor and support payroll specialists
• Provide backup support to regional managers during absences

Remote Compensation Philosophy

Remote aims to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and competitive benefits across all locations. We pay above in-location rates to discourage cheap-labor practices and promote global talent-hiring. Our salary bands are broad and consider geographic pay differentials based on our global operations. The salary range for this position is from $33,300 to $74,850, depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, and market conditions. The actual salary will be determined accordingly and may be adjusted in the future.
