Amaris Consulting is seeking a Network Security Engineer (NOC) near Barcelona to provide second-level technical support for Network and Security Services, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, and VPN. You will drive incident resolution, perform advanced troubleshooting, and lead cross-functional task forces across IT teams.

The role requires 3–4 years of hands-on IT experience in a large enterprise, strong security knowledge, and English proficiency.

Formación

• 3–4 years hands-on experience in troubleshooting, packet capture, and configuration of network and security devices
• Solid experience with WAN, LAN, WLAN
• VPN and Remote Access solutions
• Firewalls (configuration and troubleshooting)
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools
• Good understanding of network security concepts (DMZs, VLANs)
• Familiarity with Corporate security standards and internal IT processes
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical task forces
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Responsabilidades

• Provide second‑level technical support for Network and Security Services, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN
• DMZs and partner connections
• Firewalls, Internet Proxies, Remote Access and VPN
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and packet capture analysis to resolve complex incidents
• Prepare and document incident reports, ensuring proper escalation and follow‑up until resolution
• Lead infrastructure cross‑functional task forces for troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Conduct proactive monitoring of network and security infrastructure to identify trends and recurring issues
• Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and internal processes
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure service reliability and performance
