Job summary

Amaris Consulting is hiring an AI Security Engineer for a fully remote role within Spain. You will secure AI solutions, collaborate with AI Engineering teams, and translate security risks into practical controls and standards.

Fluency in English is required as you join an international, multidisciplinary group. The role emphasizes security assessments, architecture reviews, threat modelling, and secure development practices across AI and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or related fields.
• At least 1 year hands-on experience with AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ML, Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI architectures.
• Experience with security architecture, threat modelling, secure development, cloud security, IAM and secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI security risks, security testing and development pipeline controls.
• Experience conducting security assessments, architecture reviews, and security testing.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work in multidisciplinary and international teams.

• Conduct AI security assessments, architecture reviews, threat modelling, and security testing for AI and Machine Learning solutions.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and cybersecurity teams to integrate security controls into AI applications and cloud environments.
• Define security requirements for AI applications, models, data, agents, identities, and integrations.
• Support the implementation of secure AI engineering processes and security best practices.
• Implement monitoring, incident readiness, and risk mitigation controls for AI environments.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in AI Security, Cybersecurity, and Generative AI.

We are looking for a hands‑on cybersecurity professional with experience securing AI solutions and collaborating with AI Engineering teams. This is a fully remote position within Spain. Fluent English is required.

What would you need?

• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, Application Security, Cloud Security, or a similar role.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience working with AI solutions, ideally as an AI Engineer or in a role closely related to AI development and security.
• Good understanding of Machine Learning, Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI architectures.
