Job summary

Mozilla seeks a hands-on Mobile Product Manager focused on Firefox for iOS, with cross‑mobile contributions across Android. You will drive activation, retention, and ship high‑impact features while partnering with engineers, design, data science and TPMs to improve the user journey.

You will monitor App Store/Play Console metrics, perform ASO, and tailor Firefox for global markets, respecting local constraints and data realities.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience launching or managing apps on iOS App Store and/or Google Play with measurable impact.
Ability to ship features under deadlines through collaboration with engineering and design.
Comfort using analytics, funnels, A/B tests and user feedback to improve activation and retention.
Strong curiosity about platform trends and user behavior across mobile ecosystems.
Experience growing products in international markets.

Responsibilities

Drive strong activation and retention: focus on the new-user journey, quickly hooking people after they install the app, understanding where they drop off, and relentlessly optimizing the funnel through data, testing and iteration.
Deliver differentiating features and experiences that make Firefox stickier for key user groups, the kinds of things others can’t or won’t build.
Work closely with engineers, designers, data science and TPMs to ship high-impact improvements while balancing user needs, technical constraints, privacy and performance goals.
Stay deeply connected to real users: track App Store trends and discussions, test apps hands‑on, analyze reviews and analytics, and turn those insights into concrete enhancements for Firefox on iOS and Android.
Monitor app health in App Store Connect and Google Play Console (crashes, ANRs, ratings) and support acquisition/retention efforts through ASO, store listings and growth experiments.
Adapt and optimize Firefox for global markets (Europe, Japan, Asia etc.), keeping cultural differences and local realities like data constraints in mind.
