Mozilla seeks a technically adept product-minded engineer to own the foundational platform that underpins Firefox integrations and browser automation. You will drive a strategic, fast-moving initiative in a greenfield space, balancing product and engineering execution for internal teams and external AI tools.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, and collaboration across Smart Window and New Products teams, with a strong focus on defining strategy in ambiguity and safeguarding user control.

Formación

• A product-minded engineer or highly technical PM who can drive a technical product.
• Experience working in developer spaces, with the ability to consider both consumer and internal platforms.
• Comfortable setting strategy in ambiguity; own a technical contract other teams rely on.
• Strong instincts on security and trust; familiarity with web standards or browser automation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own the shared foundation and the building blocks it provides to other software, ensuring reliability and security.
• Push the open standard forward (WebDriver BiDi) and develop Firefox-unique advantages.
• Design safety controls: approvals, visibility into actions, and control recovery.
• Define the strategy for major third-party AI assistants used by people.
• Serve internal and external tools through a single shared layer.
