Grafana Observability seeks a mobile engineering-focused developer to build and evolve iOS instrumentation SDKs. You will prioritize performance, stability, and developer experience while delivering session tracking, crash reporting, and OpenTelemetry integrations.

You will own projects end-to-end in a fully remote, globally distributed team, collaborating with backend, frontend, and product engineers. Mentorship and community contributions are encouraged as part of your growth.

Formación

• Strong mobile engineering experience with iOS (Swift/Obj-C).
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry or contributions to telemetry libraries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with performance-sensitive code and pragmatic tradeoffs.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
• Proven track record building or maintaining mobile SDKs or platform libraries.
• Contributions to OpenTelemetry or observability OSS are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve mobile instrumentation SDKs for iOS, focusing on performance and stability.
• Design and ship features like session tracking, crash reporting, and propagation.
• Own projects end-to-end, breaking problems into MVPs and iterating.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend, frontend, product, and solutions teams.
• Review PRs, engage with the open-source community, and mentor teammates.
